Things Aren’t Always What They Seem

An illusion?

Like many things, at first glance, it may look impressive.  It doesn’t take long though to see through it.

Manners, etiquette, whatever you want to call it are the same.  People may follow all the etiquette guidelines to perfection; perfect handshake, smooth introductions, know how to eat spaghetti without wearing it, understand the subtleties of wine – all the things that the how to impress books instruct.

Unless these same people also treat others with respect and understanding they might as well use those books to prop open a window. They haven’t understood the true meaning of etiquette.  It’s how we make other people feel, how we treat them.

So, my car feat is an illusion.  Or is it?  I have been weight-training.
